This weekend, Kogi and Sam Woo BBQ team up to deliver a new culinary experience in a two-day special event featuring limited-edition menu items with the best of both brands. On June 27 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and June 28 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 514 Valley Blvd, Alhambra, CA 91803, visitors can eat the two exclusive dishes created just for the event: Roast Duck Kimchi Tacos and Char Siu Blackjack Quesadillas.
With food trucks well known across Southern California, Chef Roy Choi of Kogi BBQ has gained a large following for combining Korean flavors with familiar street food favorites. Sam Woo BBQ has been a staple of the San Gabriel Valley for decades, known for its Cantonese barbecue, roast duck, char siu, and other traditional Chinese specialties. By blending elements from both menus, the event offers visitors an opportunity to experience flavors that reflect the cultural diversity and culinary creativity that have helped define SGV dining.
In addition to the limited time dishes, the event will feature exclusive merch, free giveaways throughout the days, and the regular limited Kogi menu and Sam Woo menu.
