Small Business Recovery Fund 

Supporting Family Businesses in Monterey Park and Alhambra 

Impacted by the January 21 Tragedy

 

Please help reach our fundraising goal of $50,000 to help small, family-owned businesses in our local area. As you know, the January 21 tragedy has had repercussions throughout the communities of Alhambra and Monterey Park. You can help sustain our local businesses during this difficult time by donating to the Small Business Recovery Fund.

LOS ANGELES DISTRICT ATTORNEY BUREAU OF VICTIM SERVICES


Family members of those killed and injured in the Monterey Park shooting on Saturday, January 21, along with those who witnessed the mass shooting, may qualify for compensation through CalVCB.

Call the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Bureau of Victim Services at 1-800-380-3811 for assistance in multiple languages, including Chinese.

Call CalVCB’s Customer Service Line for assistance: 1-800-777-9229

Victims may qualify for up to $70,000 in reimbursements.

Services Covered Include:

    • Grief counseling
    • Emotional support
    • Medical appointments
    • Income loss

LANGLEY SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER VICTIM AND SURVIVOR RESOURCE CENTER


A Victim and Survivor resource center has been set up in response to the tragedy that occurred at the Star Dance Studio on January 21, 2023. Anyone seeking assistance related to this incident can visit the Langley Senior Citizen Center. Services offered include mental health services, crisis response teams, and victim’s services.

Chinese assistance is available through Langley Senior Citizen Center.

ASIAN MENTAL HEALTH PROJECT

The Asian Mental Health Project will be hosting virtual community healing circles from January 25 to January 29, 2023 starting at 4:30 PM. To register, click here.

ASIAN YOUTH CENTER RESOURCES FOR MONTEREY PARK VICTIMS

To help the community cope and heal, the Asian Youth Center will provide as much support and information for the victims of the Monterey Park Tragedy. Click here to view their full page of resources.
