Calling all high school students with a big idea and an entrepreneurial spirit! It’s time to turn your dream into reality! Compete with other high school students from Alhambra to build your business skills, refine your business idea, and craft the perfect pitch for micro funding.
Develop A Product/Service
The Young Entrepreneurship Program is designed to support high school students in Alhambra in their journey to turn innovative ideas into viable businesses. This program provides grants and mentorship opportunities for high school juniors and seniors, aiming to foster the next generation of business leaders.Students accepted to participate in the bootcamp will attend an all day session on Saturday, October 26th to develop and revise their business idea. Following the bootcamp, that evening students will get the chance to pitch their business ideas to a panel of funders. The best pitches at Pitch Night will be selected to join a 6-month mentorship program with the chance to show off your work at the Alhambra Lunar New Year Festival.
Qualifications
The bootcamp is open to all high school students who attend school or live in Alhambra with an entrepreneurial idea, but space is limited—only 10 business ideas will be selected! Apply Now!
Sell At the Alhambra Lunar New Year Festival
The best pitches from the Bootcamp & Pitch Night will be invited to join a mentorship program starting in November. Every two weeks, students will meet with their mentors to discuss progress, address challenges, and refine their business plans in preparation for showcasing a minimum viable product at the Alhambra Lunar New Year Festival in February, followed by a culminating event where products will be officially released in April.
