“Despite the challenges of the past year due to the pandemic, The Alhambra has kicked off 2021 on a positive note with lease renewals totaling 134,613 square feet,” said Megan Moloughney, senior development manager, The Ratkovich Company.
Alhambra Hospital has thoroughly planned and developed detailed criteria for resuming scheduled procedures and other services at the hospital, based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U.S. Surgeon General, and the American Hospital Association, with input from Alhambra Hospital’s staff, surgeons, and anesthesiologists.
Many restaurants throughout Southern California have been affected by the economic distress due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Health care workers and staff, who are putting in many hours of service to care for patients, cope with exhaustion and lack of decent meals.
“Improving the quality of patient care in hospitals is critically important,” said Dr. Ghaly. “These annual measurements through Cal Hospital Compare allow us to acknowledge hospitals doing excellent work and also inform hospitals when improvement is needed.”
Alhambra Hospital Medical Center is one of only 51 hospitals in California to achieve an “A” for the third consecutive time.
This marks the fourth consecutive time that Alhambra Hospital Medical Center has been named to the list by the publisher, which includes Becker’s Hospital Review and other publications.

The tournament took place at the Alhambra Municipal Golf Course. It was the last one to be overseen by retiring golf course manager Jerry Wisz, who was honored by former Alhambra Mayors Mark Paulson and Steve Placido for his long service to the golf course and to Alhambra.
