Jayson Pineda’s 24 advanced ceramics students collaborated for a year to create a lasting walk-through art experience for the Alhambra High School campus, transforming long walls of drab-beige school lockers into a vibrant colorful canvas.
“These schools implement outstanding educational programs and practices that help California students realize their potential and put them on the path to achieve their dreams,” said State Superintendent Tom Torlakson.
The Mark Keppel Academic Decathlon team placed second at the 2018 Los Angeles County Academic Decathlon competition.
