It’s a fun and socially distanced club that meets twice a week through the beginning of November.
The October Disability Art Exhibit at Los Angeles City Hall featured Academy of Special Dreams Foundation and LIFT artists.
PopRock Academy celebrated its 6-year-anniversary Aug. 18. The festivities continued throughout the week with free candy and free registration for students and guests.
“These schools implement outstanding educational programs and practices that help California students realize their potential and put them on the path to achieve their dreams,” said State Superintendent Tom Torlakson.
The St. Petersburg Men’s Ensemble is an independent group from Russia that was founded in 2003. The reason for its founding was the drive of its members to develop a new norm and new capabilities in the realization of artistic ideas, as well as expanding the limits of generally accepted perceptions on performing capabilities of singing groups and choirs.
A Makerspace is a collaborative space where students gather to create, invent, and learn. The Ramona MakerDen has been outfitted with some of the latest programming, prototyping, fabrication, and manufacturing equipment to help students develop their design skills and bring their imaginations to life.
Participants had the opportunity to observe marine life.
The exhibition will feature original paintings and other works of visual art created by local artists with disabilities.
