Founded in 1972, Boys and Girls Clubs of West San Gabriel Valley delivers fun and educational programs each year to over 6,000 youth of Los Angeles County across six club sites.
On March 26, a joint open house was held at the Monterey Park location. The open house featured tours of the various offerings at that club. Club member boys and girls and the facilitators of the varied programs were on hand to show off their clubhouse to visitors.
Assemblymember Ed Chau honored Barbara Messina as the 2019 Woman of the Year for the 49th District.
The Alhambra Educational Foundation was honored Dec. 6 by Assemblymember Ed Chau with the Make a Difference award for its dedication and commitment to improving the quality of life for residents in the community.
As always, the luncheon will feature local community and business leaders who will serve lunch while in costume.
Ms. Yang is a recipient of the Top 100 Civil Lawyers award and the Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 award by the National Trial Lawyers Association. In 2017 and 2018, she was recognized by Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers as a Rising Star ranking her in the top 2.5% of lawyers in California.
On Thursday, July 18, at the Boys & Girls Club of West San Gabriel Valley, Panda Cares will host an exciting event for 400 club members and provide food and fun activities.
Special Olympics co-hosts Alhambra and Monterey Park are making welcoming plans to accommodate the needs, as well as ensure the health and safety and enjoyment, of the 100 delegates arriving from Germany to Southern California.
