The Downtown Alhambra Business Association is sponsoring not only the “Virtual Hallowscream Costume Contest” for kids, but also offering a “Spooktacular Enter to Win Giveaway,” awarding prizes such as gift cards and vouchers from local businesses.
The annual Pumpkin Run and Hallowween festival is a day of fun for everyone.
A new addition to the Pumpkin Run is a 10K run starting at 7:30 a.m.
Downtown Alhambra is presenting their 6th Annual Alhambra Pumpkin Run Halloween Festival on October 27. Proceeds from each runner's bib will be donated to The Alhambra Educational Foundation.
Hallowscream activities included the annual costume contest and trick-or-treating.
Special Olympic Athletes of Southern California will assist with the 5K start and will host games on the main stage at 9 a.m.
The Pumpkin Run has partnered with The Special Olympics of Southern California and money will be raised that will go directly to their organization. Their athletes will award the medals and start off the race with the blow horn.
The Pumpkin Run and Hallowscream will take place together Sunday, Oct. 28, on South Second Street.
The annual Hallowscream costume contest and trick-or-treating, hosted by Downtown Alhambra, will be moved this year to join the Pumpkin Run Festival.
