The Installation’s theme is Support Your Team!
The Police Foundation’s golf tournament has become a fixture in Alhambra. The community is proud of its officers and of their ongoing efforts to serve and support the community.
This year, the honorees will be The Alhambra Educational Foundation, Reyna Del Haro Kaiser Permanente Foundation, SCE Foundation, and the Nicole Tilley, William H. Tilley Foundation. All of them have been superheroes in their support of the Y.
The Rose Queen and her court will attend the 30th annual Rose Queen and Court Luncheon Tuesday, Dec. 4.
The tournament took place at the Alhambra Municipal Golf Course. It was the last one to be overseen by retiring golf course manager Jerry Wisz, who was honored by former Alhambra Mayors Mark Paulson and Steve Placido for his long service to the golf course and to Alhambra.
Barbara Messina has devoted herself to the city and its residents, working to improve public safety, fighting to get the railroad tracks lowered between Alhambra and San Gabriel, improving recreational facilities, and expanding business and job opportunities all while ensuring a secure tax base and balanced city budget.
On Sept. 18, the Alhambra Rotary Club recognized Mark Paulson as A Person of Action.
As always, the luncheon will feature local community and business leaders who will serve lunch while in costume.

An informal social where business people get together, exchange ideas, and develop new relationships. These monthly networking programs are sponsored by and hosted at Chamber member establishments.
The Alhambra Chamber of Commerce's 115th Installation Dinner will install new officers and present the Outstanding Community Service Award and the Outstanding Business of the Year Award.
