School Superintendent DeniseJaramillo said AUSD schools could open in phases and, no matter what, there will be an emergency plan in place to immediately convert all curriculum to distance learning should the need arise.
The Alhambra and The Ratkovich Company donated $6,000 to the Alhambra community in recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week.
AUSD is hosting the events from June 4-19 and is responsible for making sure participants comply with the protocols.
Although Covid-19 has forced cancellations of mainstay activities, it doesn’t mean seniors can’t still be celebrated for their amazing achievements.
Mark Keppel, Alhambra, and San Gabriel finished with 60, 68, and 35 medals, respectively. Keppel walked away with the highest Division I honors, ranking first in both overall scores (48,103.7) and Super Quiz (5,600). They also made LA County ACADECA history by becoming the first school with a combined score of over 100,000 points between their A and B teams.
Alhambra Educational Foundation (AEF) will register students for its popular Summer High School and K-8 Summer Academy programs, to be held this year for five weeks Monday through Friday.
