The Alhambra, The Ratkovich Company donate $6,000 to community

The Alhambra, The Ratkovich Company gave a donation of $6,000 to the Alhambra community in honor of the Alhambra Teachers Association, Alhambra Unified School District, and Asian Youth Center.

In recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week, The Alhambra and The Ratkovich Company have donated $6,000 to the Alhambra community. The donation was made in honor of the Alhambra Teachers Association (ATA), Alhambra Unified School District (AUSD), and Asian Youth Center (AYC). “We want to give a special thanks to all the teachers, administrators, and community leaders who are making such a profound contribution to our young people during these extraordinary times,” said Megan Moloughney, senior development manager for The Ratkovich Company.

The Alhambra and The Ratkovich Company continue to be strong supporters of the Alhambra Educational Foundation (AEF), whose funding provides support and enhancement for students and programs within the AUSD.

The Ratkovich Company has been a member of the Alhambra community since acquiring the C. F. Braun campus in 1998. But the roots go much deeper: founder Wayne Ratkovich was raised in Alhambra and has a strong connection to the city and its people. The Alhambra is a proud supporter of the community and contributes regularly to the Alhambra Educational Foundation and the annual Alhambra Rotary Teacher Mini-Grants. The Alhambra has co-hosted “Adopt a Family” on behalf of the Alhambra Rotary Foundation for nearly nine years and participates in the annual Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund.
