Ramona Convent soccer team takes league title

The Ramona Convent Varsity Soccer team captures the Horizon League Championship title for the first time in 20 years.

The Ramona Convent Varsity Soccer Team ended its season strong with an undefeated record, capturing the Horizon League Championship title for the first time in 20 years.

“What I enjoyed most about this season is that we took the league champ title, of course, and that I built such a close relationship with my teammates and ended our season on a high note,” said senior Casandra Bonada. In celebration of the team achievements, the Ramona community celebrated with a gold and white free dress day and a pep rally.

The athletic program at Ramona helps student athletes develop an understanding of good sports citizenship and acquire the physical, social, and cultural values inherent in sports. They develop persistence, patience, and a mindset for success.

Ramona is a welcoming Catholic college-prep high school for girls in grades nine through 12.
