Experience savory crafted gourmet hotdogs at Dog Haus

Dog Haus, 410 E. Main St., Alhambra, is the home of the nationally acclaimed signature craft-casual gourmet hotdogs, sausages, and burgers. Established and first opened in Pasadena in 2010, Dog Haus immediately became a success, extended its locations, and began a franchise venture. Alhambra Dog Haus owner Robby Singh has been in the restaurant business for more than 15 years and decided to open a Dog Haus chain on the busy streets of Downtown Alhambra in 2012.

He renovated the place in September 2017 with a biergarten and an outdoor seating patio. “Alhambra is a great location because of the crowd, and it is more of a happy, fun place,” he said. The newly renovated interior is dimly lit with big screen TVs showing sports games. The bar in the middle of the restaurant highlights local crafted beers. The mission at Dog Haus is to provide great experiences and enjoyment of fresh quality foods with excellent customer service.

All meat prepared at Dog Haus is 100% genetically tested, humanely raised Black Angus beef, which carries no hormones or antibiotics and is served in grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls.Dog Haus has a variety of Haus creations of hotdogs, sausages, burgers, and chicken. Newly added on the menu are plant-based vegan sausages and burgers. The top selling burger, The Freiburger, is stacked with a savory Angus beef patty, melted white American cheese, fries, Haus slaw, fried egg, mayo, and grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls. Juicy Haus Dog favorite Pineapple Express is a bacon-wrapped hot dog with bouillonnaise, sweet ginger glaze, pineapple, scallions, and pickled jalapenos. It is topped with crispy onions and is full of flavors and ingredients. Impossible Burger is a vegan plant-based burger with pickles, lettuce, tomato, onion, white American cheese, and a secret sauce. Make it fun and be creative by customizing a build-your-own from the wide choices of toppings and sauces. Dog Haus makes shakes and serves ice cream from Fosselman’s Ice Cream. Diners can wash down their food with a rotating selection of crafted nitro beers on tap from local brews.

Dog Haus proudly supports and gives back to the community by offering fundraising and charity events at its locations. Special events, such as Tap Takeover, are hosted, and information on upcoming events is posted on Dog Haus social media.

Catering is available for events and special occasions. Online orders are available with delivery service. Happy Hour menus are available Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday from 10 p.m. to midnight, and Sunday 3 p.m. to midnight.
