Any person eligible to hold office may obtain an application from the Office of the Superintendent, Administration Building, 1515 W. Mission Road, Alhambra, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or on the district website www.ausd.us.
In accordance with Education Code Section 35107, to be eligible to be elected or appointed as a member of a governing board of a school district, an interested party must be:

The deadline for candidates to submit their application for this position is 5 p.m. Jan. 16. Incomplete application packages will not be considered. The board will interview finalists at a regular public meeting at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 24, announce its decision, and seat the new member at the board meeting Jan. 29.
