Ramona Convent students receive college board PSAT/NMSQT special awards

Ramona Convent senior Dana Do has been selected as a Commended Student in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program. Dana has been recognized for the exceptional academic promise demonstrated by her outstanding performance on the 2017 preliminary SAT/NMSQT. Dana has placed among the top 50,000 scorers of more than 1.6 million students.

Senior Vanessa De La Rosa scored in the top 2.5% among Hispanic and Latino PSAT/NMSQT test takers in the region and has been recognized by the National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP). Participation in the NHRP enables students to highlight their outstanding educational achievements to top colleges and universities.

“These young women have demonstrated outstanding potential for future academic success,” commented a spokesperson for the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. “These students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their school plays in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation.”
