The long running YMCA Celebrity Waiters Luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, at the newly renovated Almansor Court, 700 S. Almansor St. As always, it will feature local community and business leaders who will serve lunch while in costume (don’t forget to tip). Proceeds from this fun event will benefit the YMCA of West San Gabriel Valley and its youth programs, which include the Junior Fit Club: After School Program, Summer Day Camp, and Camp, Ta Ta Pochon.
“There will be great raffle prizes and auction items,” said YMCA CEO Valarie Gomez. “Prominent members of the community, including popular Councilmember Barbara Messina, who is also president of the YMCA, always love to be a part of the festivities by dressing up and becoming celebrity waiters for a day.”
Join the fun, and support the YMCA by buying tickets at the YMCA for $50 per person prior to the event. Reserve a table for 10 people for $550.
