Fran Rushie has passion to help clients protect assets, build better retirement

New Chamber member Fran Rushie is an Insurance Sales Representative for Bankers Life Insurance Company.

Fran Rushie, a new member of Alhambra’s growing community of business people joining the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce, is an Insurance Sales Representative for Bankers Life Insurance Company.

Bankers Life specializes in helping people navigate their retirement years. They specialize in policies that assist individuals and their families with the expenses of long-term and short-term care should that become necessary.

Ms. Rushie, a licensed agent, has lived in Alhambra for several years and, following the completion of her state licensing as an insurance agent, she has become increasingly active in community affairs, including her new membership in the Chamber. With two grown sons and an active granddaughter, she has plenty of outlets for her energy.

“I am a licensed life and health insurance agent, working with Bankers Life,” she said. “I am a person of strong faith and committed to live by the values of my faith. My intentions are to assist people to find the peace of mind that our policies give. I love what I do, and I have a passion to help others protect their assets and build a better retirement.”

After Ms. Rushie fractured her ankle and experienced considerable out of pocket expenses, she realized the importance of short-term care insurance and is now an advocate of that protection. A situation caused by an accident requiring short-term care can be eased with a Bankers Life Short Term policy that covers nursing home or nursing home and home care.

Long-term care is also an important consideration for retired people or those considering retirement. Bankers Life long-term care is the assistance people need when they can no longer perform some or all basic activities of daily living, which can include eating, bathing, continence, dressing, toileting, and transferring (moving in or out of a bed, chair, or wheelchair). Long-term care needs typically arise as part of the normal aging process but can also be due to injury or illness.

To discuss insurance needs, Ms. Rushie can be reached at her office at 2700 E. Foothill Blvd, Suite 205, Pasadena 91107. Her direct line is 626-460-7120. The office phone is 626-405-0911. Her cell phone number is 626-379-0030. She can also be reached at fran.rushie@bankerslife.com.
