More than 1,000 runners expected to sign up for City’s Pumpkin Run

The City’s Pumpkin Run promotes fitness and health and brings the community together.

The City of Alhambra will present its 4th annual Pumpkin Run at 8 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, on Main Street in Downtown Alhambra. The race promotes physical fitness and health and is one of the City's largest community events.

“Get to know your neighbors as they cheer you on during your run,” said event producer Joanna Vargas. “This race attracts more than 1,000 runners and brings the community together. This year's Alhambra Pumpkin Run will be relocated at the heart of the city on Main Street in beautiful Downtown Alhambra in conjunction with Alhambra's Farmers Market. The Alhambra Pumpkin Run truly brings out the spirit of the community through laughter and cheers, making it a huge party for everyone.”

The event will offer food, live music, a beer garden for ages 21+, a craft fair, kids zone pumpkin pie making and pumpkin decorating contests, and more.

Runners and attendees are encouraged to dress up in their best Halloween, pumpkin, or orange gear.
