Earth Kitchen said they are the first customized fast hotpot in the United States. The restaurant provides customers with the opportunity to create their own meal by choosing, for a vegetarian hotpot, from a vast selection of fresh produce — 21 choices of veggies, tofu, and mushrooms — cooked in a Szechuan broth or a curry base for an additional charge.
Beyond the vegetarian hotpot, one can also choose from nine quality meat options and seven fresh fish options. Pick your carbs (rice or potato noodles), and finally decide if your hotpot will be spicy, medium, mild, or not spicy.
And voila, in a mere 10 minutes you have a fulfilling meal of your own creation to be enjoyed in well-appointed surroundings.
For the especially hungry diner there is available a variety of appetizers: Lollipop Shrimp, Popcorn Chicken, Crispy Chicken Wings, and more. Specialty appetizers (luwei) include Chicken Legs, Beef Tendon, Chicken Feet, and other items.
A first-time Earth Kitchen visitor may well select Earth Kitchen’s “Signature Hotpot,” which includes sliced beef, crispy pork, house beef balls, fish balls, potatoes, corn, sponge tofu, Napa cabbage, and bean sprouts, holding back on the self-created hotpot until you have examined the seemingly endless available menu choices spread out for your amazed review.
