Ramona Convent kicked off the holiday season on Dec. 3 with a concert and luncheon honoring the students’ grandparents. Grandparents were invited to spend part of the day with their granddaughters on Ramona’s 19 ¼-acre campus.
The afternoon began with a performance by four musical groups, consisting of two choirs and two handbell ensembles. Students made music that brought the joy of the season right into the room. The handbell ringers played with precision and grace. The concert concluded with singers and ringers combined, wishing the audience a Merry Christmas to You All.
The granddaughters escorted their grandparents to the Holy Family room for a catered lunch. Senior Jessica Franco welcomed all the grandparents with a speech that included many thanks for all the special things she enjoys about her grandparents, such as delicious meals and warm hugs.
All enjoyed an Italian feast with warm apple cider.
