Message from the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce President

The Alhambra Chamber of Commerce has grown to become the largest Chamber in the San Gabriel Valley and is positioned to ensure that our community and economic base continues to grow as the "Gateway to the San Gabriel Valley."

For over 105 years, the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce has been the business "voice" for the region. Our primary purpose is to foster economic vitality for the betterment of the community. With nearly 550 members, this Chamber represents a broad cross section of businesses, ranging from small merchants and non-profits to some of the nation's largest corporations.

The Chamber has effectively partnered with city government, working closely to ensure successful major events like the Taste of Alhambra, Chinese Lunar New Year Parade and Festival, and Tournament of Roses Float and Rose Queen and Court Luncheon to name a few. The Alhambra Chamber of Commerce also has a unique collaboration with our local school board and is working to establish meaningful mentoring opportunities with local businesses.

Additionally, we publish a monthly community newspaper - "Around Alhambra" with a circulation of 50,000 that is distributed to every home and business in the city. In addition to this publication, the Chamber also offers advertising opportunities in the highly visible theater kiosks in front of the state-of-the-art Alhambra Renaissance Cineplex. These two mediums, in addition to our Chamber Web page, provide an exceptional range of advertising opportunities for many of our local businesses and it’s all managed by the Alhambra Chamber.

The Alhambra Chamber is also very active in the area of legislative advocacy. With strong participation from the Board of Directors and member volunteers, this Chamber serves as a role model to other neighboring chambers of commerce.

The breadth of Alhambra businesses represented on this Web site is a reflection of the city’s strong economy, sustained growth and continued prosperity.

Thank you for visiting our Web site … now come visit our city.
